Preparation: Cover kitchen appliances and surrounding areas to protect them from cleaning solutions and splatter. Grease Filter Removal: Remove and clean or replace grease filters in the hood. These filters can accumulate a significant amount of grease and grime. Degreasing: Apply a degreaser or specialized kitchen hood cleaning solution to the interior and exterior surfaces of the hood, including the hood canopy, baffles, and exhaust fan. Scrubbing and Agitation: Agitate and scrub grease buildup using brushes and scrubbing tools to loosen and remove stubborn deposits.
